Natural playgrounds are so much fun for kids because they use elements from nature -- or items that look like natural elements. Our rock-themed plastic borders add a natural theme to your play area, and they're perfect for retaining playground surfacing. They look like 3 courses of stacked stone, but they're made from roto-molded plastic.
Each rock-finish border is reversible. That is, each side has a different theme. On one side, there's stacked stone. On the other side, there's a river-stone theme. Just turn the timber with your choice of themes facing outwards. These borders are easy to install, with just a mallet or sledgehammer.

Fitting
First, line up the plastic borders, with the end section of each border overlapping the front section of the next. Then, place the metal spike vertically into the opening in the top of each border timber section. Finally, drive the spikes into the ground with a mallet or sledgehammer. |
Materials
These rock-themed plastic borders are made from hollow polyethylene. There are molded-in ribs inside each section, to add strength.
Dimensions
Each plastic border section measures 48" long (end to end) x 8" tall. For measuring purposes, each border section is 42" long.
Colors
Grey stone is the only color available. |
